Assessio in the past
Assessio has a long history of developing psychological tests with close ties to research in the fields of occupational psychology, clinical psychology, and in reading and writing diagnostics. The business was started in 1954 in Sweden, by the Swedish Psychological Association. In 1991, the former Psykologiförlaget (Psychology Publishing House) was purchased by Hunter Mabon, professor of Human Resource Economics at Stockholm University. In time, more extensive training and consulting services were added, and the company's name was changed to Assessio – which means "we provide."
