The information that we evaluate (depending on the character of the assignment) encompasses three main areas:

•Individual’s inherent traits We measure and assess the basic foundation of an individual's inherent traits, which are only subject to minor changes. These inherent properties are mainly rooted in differences within personality structures and differences in how we process complex information - differences that indicate both potentials and risks. If these properties are not compatible with a specific role, there will usually be negative consequences.
• Acquired knowledge and competence We assess the acquired knowledge and competence that determines the degree to which a person is ready to step into a certain role. Any potential deficits in competence that we identify can be managed on a long term basis with the support of competence development.
• Fit between individual and culture  We also assess if the conditions are right for the  individual to fit into a certain type of environment and corporate culture, i.e. the match between individual and culture. This can include the extent to which values are shared and how this in turn affects the individual’s motivation for the assignment.

Assessio assists organizations in making good recruitment decisions - especially on a managerial and executive level. Our approach is strongly evidence-based. Every year, we conduct around 1500 assessments of managers and executives. We have significant knowledge of how leadership differs at various hierarchical levels, in different industries and depending on the strategic challenges of different businesses. We also have expertise in the commonalities of effective leadership regardless of the context, and of how selection should be linked to other important processes in an organization in order to make an impact.
